Launching Live at The Bucket, Singha Thursdays

The Bucket List are getting ready to launch their new weekly Live at the Bucket, Singha Thursdays on May 30th. For the first live at the bucket event, local artists will be taking to the stage. Tom Stephens and Velshur will be supporting, and The Khanz will be headlining the event.

Entry is free after 7pm, and drink specials on the night include $6 Singha Beer, $5 Monteiths Cider and $20 Asolut Vodka cocktail jugs.

Evan & The Brave "Stay This Way" single launch

Sydney quartet Evan & The Brave are showcasing their brand spanking new single "Stay This Way" at the Hibernian House in Sydney next month. Special guest stars will be announced at a later date.

Ngaiire "Around" single launch

After all the praise of Ngaiire’s first single "Dirty Hercules", she’s ready to launch her second single "Around". The song is a preview of what’s to come from her debut album Lamentations'.

Pick Pockets & Rascals local event at The Standard

Pick Pockets & Rascals have created a lineup of stellar local acts to perform at The Standard in June. The night will feature performances from Ngaiire, Brian Campeau, IIuka, Ev Jones, Kay Proudlove, Olivia Jean and Michael O’Donnell and His Orchestra of Thieves. Artists will perform a new arrangement of one of their songs alongside an orchestra.

Spirit of House Secret Block Party

Over the long weekend for the Queens birthday, Soul of Sydney & Our House are hosting a Spirit of House Block Party, featuring New York Disco superstar; John Morales. The night will also see performances from the likes of Stephen Allkins (love-tattoo), Frenzie (Groove Therapy), Phil Toke, Jason Sennitt, Soul of Sydney DJs and friends, Michael Zac and Eadie Ramia.

There will also be a live Sydney Street Art Project showcase.

Bar100 at Vivid Sydney Festival

Bar100 will be one of the biggest hot spots during the Vivid Sydney Festival this year, from May 24th through to June 10th. Bar100 will have a special menu throughout the festival period which you can view on their official website. Two course meals will be $45; three course meals will be $55, and a selection of drink specials will be on offer.

The venue will hold live musical performances every evening from Tuesday to Sunday by the likes of Braden Evans, Withfox, Baby Grand, Angelene, Sonic Soul Duo, Jake Meadows and more.

Klaxons 'What We Do Is Secret' DJ set

Klaxons are performing a DJ set at What We Do Is Secret – a Modular party on 27th July, at Oxford Art Factory. Modular and FBi Radio are hosting the party, in celebration of being on the air for 10 years.

Movement, Softwar, wordlife, Slow Blow, Club Mod DJs and more special guests will be joining the Klaxons on the night.

Jack Carty and Casual Psychotic EP launch

Local Sydney talent Jack Carty recently collaborated with Casual Psychotic on his new EP The Predictable Crisis of Modern Life. Jack will be launching his new EP at a secret venue, which will be revealed on purchased tickets, on Thursday May 30th.

Willow Beats National EP Tour

The electronic duo Willow Beats have generated quite the buzz since their self-titled EP back in 2012, and now they’re back with a second EP. Pilerats and Stoney Roads have teamed together to present the due on their national ‘Alchemy’ tour, and are promising one kickass party.

Funky Town: A Tribute to the 80s & Old School R&B

Funky Town are putting on a tribute night, dedicated to the 80s and old school r&b for the over 25s. The night will feature masters of old school DJ’s Nasser T, Sam Boutros, Jimmy Jam and Mo Green who will be playing only the best from the 80s.

Femme Locale at The Vanguard

Femme Locale is a platform for local female singer/songwriters to be part of the live Sydney music scene. This will be the third Femme Locale event at The Vanguard. Gigi Fontaine will open the night, followed by G.C. O’Connor and the Loveless Children, Rocking Horse and The Baby Dolls and Jess Dunbar.
